Ham'n'eggs

I've decided to actively change the way it should be done, the hiring process and office politics of it all.

This past Monday I met with my boss and I made sure he knew what I thought of his company. This week I'm hiring a part-timer for the site so I can finally take vacations and have a day off every once in a while. But I've realized I just can't hire anybody.

I can't work with lazy people. It will fuck with my chi and I will spend the entire day bitching. And the older I get I've realized that you can control most everything so long as you break it down and figure out the solution. In this case I need someone I can rely on, someone I can trust, and someone who is both talented and a hard worker.

I've begun to make coffee dates with some girls. I figure I'll just lay it straight to them. Tell them how shitty they are, but that she'd be working with me and so it should not be an issue. Tell them how it's easy money and a good experience and that we are steadily growing.

If I don't tell them the truth they will always secretly hate me, and hatred never equates with progress. I can't sell the bullshit. Plus, it'll come back to get you. No, not Karma. Math. Yes, math. Mathematically you are building a future filled with hard times and lonely nights if you treat people like dirt. And no amount of money can make you feel whole.
